Classification for Athletes with a Visual or Physical Impairment (VI and PI) will take place on Monday 4 May, Tuesday 5 May and Wednesday 6 May 2020.
Classification slots are allocated per Nation and therefore World Para Athletics will be in contact with your NPC/NF if you require classification. Athletes who will undergo Classification must arrive in Paris prior to the start of Classification.
PI Classification will take place at the competition stadium (warm-up track), Paris, Stade Charléty.
VI Classification will be held at the Pitié Salpêtrière Hospital.

ATTENTION: All athletes wishing to participate in the Grand Prix in Paris must be entered via the IPC Online Entry System by their NPC/NF and with the LOC in order to be eligible to compete (in their chosen events).This year, we are not able to offer discus (for all) and sitting shot put events!
Equipment Repair Service

Personal Equipment, Throwing frames & Racing Wheelchairs
The arrangements will be as follows :
• LOC Logistics and transport Team will facilitate transfer of the team’s sport equipment from the airport arrivals to the storage at the venue.
• LOC Logistics Manager will meet the team, take a count of equipment, send it accross to the storage area.
• The Team representative should ensure that all equipment’s are loaded onto the logistics truck.
• Equipment will be grouped together according to countries.
• The equipment storage area will be allocated close to the call room and is locked up over night.
• Storage request forms will be filled in by Team Representative and Logistics Team member and a receipt will be provided for each piece of equipment.
• Equipment may be collected by athletes /team officials by handing in the storage receipt.
The return of all equipment will be coordinated by the LOC Logistics & Transport Team together with one representative of each country/club at least the day before the departure. The team representative has to make sure that the equipment is complete befrore sending over the airport.
Competitors will have to provide for their own accident and liability insurances. The organisers exclude any liability and assume no responsibility for loss or theft of materials or personal belongings during the entire competition.
Foreign competitors must possess a valid WPA Athlete license. French competitors must additionally possess a valid FFH license.
Athletes & Accompanying Persons
There will be a food stand in the competition venue selling a selection of snacks.
During competition: Medical service is provided at the competition area, see map of venue.
In all other cases: Please ask at the hotel reception.
Ranking lists will be published immediately after the competition.
Technical aspects of the meeting as well as classifications are subject to the rules of the WPA.
The event is sanctioned by WPA.

Training and Warm-Up Venues
The warm-up track can be used if it is freely available. No fixed reservations can be made. We ask for mutual respect.
Training will be permitted at the following times :
4 – 6 May : 10:00 – 18:00
7 – 8 May : 08:00 – 20:00
4 -6 May : 13:00 – 15:00 for wheelchairs only
8 May : 15:00 – 17:00 for ambulant throwers only (NO DISCUS !!)
The LOC do not provide any fitness and conference rooms.
There will be some victory ceremonies per day in the competition area. For those participating in the victory ceremonies please be at the tent next to the time keeping tower at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time. From there you will be guided to the victory ceremony area.
